John W. Randall is a Senior Vice President of PCCP, LLC.  Mr. Randall joined PCCP in December 2009 and focuses on East Coast debt and equity originations particularly in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Prior to PCCP, Mr. Randall spent six years and invested over $1 billion in real estate debt and preferred equity positions within the Real Estate Private Equity group of Lehman Brothers.  Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Randall was a Vice President with Deutsche Bank, originating and underwriting mezzanine investments for the DB Real Estate Mezzanine Investment Funds.  Mr. Randall's experience also includes work at Daiwa Securities originating and structuring conduit loans for their CMBS group.  Mr. Randall started his career with Arthur Andersen and Jones Lang Wootton where he valued over $1 billion of real estate in the U.S. and Latin America.  Mr. Randall has over 14 years of real estate experience and holds a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Doug has over 30 years of experience as an economic analyst and forecaster. Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy in 2010, Doug served as the Executive Director of The National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), and chaired the Real Estate Information Standards Board from 2007-2010. Prior to his work at NCREIF, Doug was the Chief Investment Strategist for AEW Capital Management, where he chaired the Investment Policy Group, was a standing member of the Investment Committee and oversaw AEW Research, the firm's in-house research group. Prior to joining AEW in 1991, Doug was with F.W. Dodge, where he managed real estate and construction forecasting, and with DRI/McGraw-Hill as Manager of Metropolitan Forecasting.
Doug holds a BA from Harvard University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). In 2005, PREA awarded Doug the Graaskamp Award for his high-quality research in the area of institutional investment in real estate.

Mark is the President and Founder of MJW Investments. After beginning his career as an attorney, Los Angeles native Mark J. Weinstein founded MJW Investments in 1983 when he discovered the potential of real estate investment and development through several successful ventures. Under his leadership MJW has acquired approximately 1 billion dollars of real estate holdings in all asset types. He also spearheaded the adaptive reuse of Santee Village, one of Los Angeles’ largest adaptive reuse projects of over 800,000 sq. ft. of mixed-use in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles. Mr. Weinstein’s passion for, and expertise in property repositioning has been a guiding factor in the company’s growth and success.

Mark is the majority owner of the firm’s $500MM diversified real estate holdings. More recently, Mark has led the firm’s strategic growth into student housing and has amassed a portfolio of student housing properties at Michigan State, Washington State, Brigham Young University, UC Santa Barbara and Texas Tech. The firm continues to expand its Southern California multifamily portfolio.

Throughout his career, Mr. Weinstein has maintained active associations and leadership roles with numerous civic and philanthropic groups. These include a three year term as Chair of the Jewish Federation’s Real Estate Construction Division, active associations with the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Guardians, an agency dedicated to serving the elderly and the Jewish Venture Philanthropy fund. His philanthropic involvement is diversified and he has been honored with many awards from various organizations in the community including the Jewish Federation Real Estate Construction Division, the Legacy Award from Los Angeles Family Housing Corporation and the Justice Award by the L.A. Law & Poverty Center for his work in the community.

Mr. Weinstein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara (summa cum laude), and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School (dean’s list).

Mr. Raisner is the Founder and CEO of The Raisner Group (formerly Proteus Capital Management), a private real estate investment firm headquartered in New York City.

Under his leadership, The Raisner Group has raised capital domestically and internationally since 2009. It has been active in non-performing notes and fee simple transactions, and focuses primarily on value-add, residential and mixed-use real estate investments in New York City. Most of the firm’s acquisitions have taken place in the outer boroughs, with an emphasis in the emerging Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick, Bed Stuy and Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

After working as an equity trader in New York, Mr. Raisner worked for a real estate investment firm in Argentina, where he focused on Latin American acquisitions. Mr. Raisner holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Foreign Trade Advisor to the Government of France. He is a Founding Member of the Transatlantic Forum of the French-American Foundation and an Advisor to Concordia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering Public-Private Partnerships for social impact.

Alex Symes, Vice President, is a member of the Global Real Assets Research team for BlackRock Real Estate. He develops the team's outlook on US market fundamentals to advise the portfolio management, asset management and acquisitions teams.

Prior to joining BlackRock in early 2015, Mr. Symes was a Vice President, Economist for the global real estate research team at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.

Mr. Symes holds an MA in Economics from the University of San Francisco and a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota. He serves as the co-chair of the NCREIF Research Committee, is an active member of the NCREIF Defined Contribution Committee and is a frequent presenter at NCREIF conferences.
