About the virtual event

iGlobal Forum boasts of a long history of organising the most established real estate senior-level conferences. One of these is Real Estate Mezzanine Finance Summit, designed by and for the U.S. real estate mezzanine financing industry. Despite the circumstances we are facing now due to pandemic that had stopped us from meeting face to face, iGlobal Live is the answer to continue the conversation and keep you informed whilst preparing you for:

The Future of Real Estate Mezzanine Financing Amidst COVID-19.

Our virtual event brings together both lenders and borrowers together to discuss these key and pertinent issues in this capital saturated market.

Key topics include:

  • Immediate impact of the virus crisis on asset level cash flows and values.
  • Credit implications on pricing and structure for high yield CRE debt
  • C-PACE financing for retroactive financing or cash out for projects done within the past few years
  • Massive liquidity shortage across many CRE lenders.
  • Banks, CMBS and other lenders have been actively doing “COVID re-trades” on advance rate sparking a need for more borrower equity
  • Agency Debt and other lenders requiring more Interest Reserves which increases borrower out-of-pockets.
  • Hospitality, Retail, and Multifamily will likely need to tap mezz/pre equity market for more capital to cover operating and debt service shortfalls
  • Mezz Lenders in those product types will likely be faced with some tough decisions (modify or exercise remedies) over the course of the next 90 days.
